ADVENT CRAFT AND COVERED DISH LUNCHEON will be held on the second Sunday of Advent (DEC 8) at noon. This year we will be making not only ornaments to take home but also for the church’s Angel Tree. Church families and their friends are welcome to bring a covered dish and enjoy a meal, fellowship and crafts. Those who feel that may be “craft- challenged” are especially encouraged to attend and be amazed at their accomplishments. It will be yet another glue and glitter extravaganza!!!

ANNUAL HANGING OF THE GREENS in the sanctuary will be held at 6 PM on DEC 13. Please come and help decorate for this joyous season!

BLUE CHRISTMAS/LONGEST NIGHT The bright advent season can be painful for those struggling from a loss, separation, loneliness, or illness. At 7 PM Saturday, DEC 21, those who wish to experience Scripture, music, and meditations that focus on God’s comfort in difficult times may find meaning in this combined service of worship with other area churches. The service this year is at 2nd Presbyterian Church, 143 Parsonage St, Pittston, PA. Please consider coming and inviting someone you know.
